Depending on the grinding angle and surface to be ground, Flap Discs are available in two types:

Type 27 – has flat surface and can achieve maximum efficiency when applied at a work angle of 0-15 deg angle. These discs are the most suitable for grinding flat surfaces.

Add SAFE LOC (Patented), Quick Change

SAFE LOC is a 5/8″-11 threaded attachment for flap discs. Available for 4 1/2″, 5″, 6″ and 7″ discs with any backing type.

For Item with SAFE LOC Quick Change add S to the end of Item with 7/8″ Arbor Hole. e.g. Item: Z5045049 with 7/8″ AH will become Z5045049S with 5/8″-11 SAFE LOC.

For Item with 5/8″-11 Zinc Hub add H to the of Item with 7/8″ Arbor Hole. e.g. Item: Z5045049 with 7/8″ AH will become Z5045049H with 5/8″-11 Zinc Hub.

For each type of wheel the non woven abrasive material is silicon carbide “SF” and aluminum oxide “AF” with different quantity and density of abrasive grains.
These wheels have a semi-opened and uniform structure with a bonded non woven abrasive material ideal for consistent and aggressive finishing action. During working operation it does not overheat and will not modify the properties of metals and special alloys.

Wheel type CW is available in 4 different grains:
Aggressive – with effective removing capacity
Medium Aggressive – ideal for a good and uniform finishing
Low Aggressive – ideal for an effective and consistent finishing
Non Aggressive – ideal for an effective and consistent finishing

The all-new DiamondX® Chopper is an all-new metal cutting chop saw blade. Designed for use on low-powered metal cutting chop saws, the 14” DiamondX® Chopper will chop through steel, stainless steel, rebar, structural steel and bolts with ease. Like all DiamondX® products, the new 14” DiamondX® Chopper is much safer and more eco-friendly than abrasives. The tools are made of steel and diamonds, which retain their shape, cut after cut. The steel core is virtually indestructible, providing a much safer working environment when compared to conventional abrasives that can fracture & break. Sparks, odor and debris are all greatly reduced, improving working conditions for the operator.
