Flap Disc Manufacturing Process

Extreme Abrasives has a unique manufacturing process which uses state of the art, custom built machines to produce quality abrasive tools.

1. We start by selecting the very best raw materials.
2. Next we apply adhesive to the backing.
3. Then we use our own designed machines to precisely cut and insert abrasive material into the adhesive already applied to the backing.
4. Afterwards, we cure the adhesive by applying heat to the disc in an oven. This step is crucial as it provides an extremely solid bond.
5. For the final step, we apply labels and send the discs off for testing and packaging.
